Treatment for the face can take 2-14 days to show its full effect. At four weeks the nerve endings will start to regenerate. This can occur at different rates for each individual depending on how your own body responds. Botulinum Toxin-A is a temporary effect and can be expected to last up to 12 weeks
Side effects can include bruising, redness, tenderness at injection sites, flu like symptoms, headache, tiredness, blurred vision or muscle weakness. Very rarely the toxin may migrate to other muscle groups causing some weakness such as drooping of the eyelid. This is usually short lived and where appropriate may be corrected.
Like all medicines Botulinum Toxin-A can have side effects. If you have any symptoms or concerns then please advise us ASAP so they may be dealt with promptly.
The effect of Botulinum Toxin-A can vary from person to person and if you feel you havenít achieved the desired affect then a top up may be required within four weeks.

Hyperhidrosis is a medical term for excessive sweating, under the arms, hands and feet. A highly effective treatment for 95% of our clients. Botulinum Toxin-A blocks the signals to the eccine sweat glands and thus reduces the amount of sweating. The aim of the treatment is to make the sweating more manageable.
